Coldwater Defender 46m Safety Spool

Thick gloves and cold fingers can make it difficult to use a spool; gloved fingers overlap the edge of the spool and cold hands make it hard to grip small edges. Halcyon solved this problem by creating the industry’s only built-in handle. The flanged edge around the Halcyon coldwater spindle allows the spool's double-ender to act as a handle. Coldwater Defender spools are available in two sizes, 30m (100’) & 46m (150’) and are supplied wth a stainless steel clip.
