Course Description
The PADI Advanced Open Water course is a great way for qualified divers to gain valuable experience in a supervised manner.
As an Advanced Open Water student you will take part in five dives, two of these are done from our boat. We do navigation and deep and the other three dives are chosen by the group. These five dives & theory sessions will give you the confidence and ability to dive in similar conditions.
Gaining this certification also qualifies you to dive up to 30m.
$350 (includes gear hire if needed): or $320 if done within two months of completing your Open Water course with us.
The Advanced course is run over one week night for the theory (from 6pm) leaving the weekend free for your 5 sea dives.
We have a special Advanced Course starting on Sunday 9th May with a pool session in the 5m pool at Kilbirnie where you'll have the chance to practice your buoyancy. If you'd like to, you can then do a Night Dive as part of your course on Tuesday 11th May. On Saturday 15th May you'll complete your Navigation Dive and one other dive of your choice (or two dives of your choice if you didn't participate in the Night Dive), then on Sunday 16th you will complete your Deep dive and one other dive of your choice at Kapiti Island. Cost for all this is just $400 including equipment.
